Suraj Estate Developers completed 36 years of its journey in September 2022. A venture that began with the dream of transforming real estate, we continuously strive to improve quality and customer satisfaction. Our meaningful partnerships and dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities are a step forward to the mission of better lives and better homes for all.
We have successfully rehoused over 2000 families from the chawls of South Mumbai to state-of-the-art homes, free of cost. Through this rehabilitation and consciously planned redevelopment, we hope to improve the lives of the entire community. Suraj also maintains the green median strips on roads in Lower Parel, Haji Ali and Shivaji Park as part of its CSR.
With over 42 projects completed in the commercial and residential real estate sector, we have been honoured with multiple awards for our work. In 2020, CNN News 18 awarded Suraj Developer of the Year. Later, in 2022, the same title was presented to Suraj by CNBC Awaaz, Business Standard and Mid-Day. We were also awarded Brand of the Year by CNBC Awaaz and Promising Developer of the Year by Ace Alpha Awards.
Our Director, Rahul Thomas was listed in the 40 under 40 Awards 2022 by Realty Plus, recognising passionate individuals who significantly contributed to India’s real estate sector. ET Now presented our Chairperson and Managing Director, Rajan Thomas with the Lifetime Achievement Award, honouring his four decades of dedicated work. The strong leadership at Suraj actively sets new goals and is creating luxury living a reality for South Central Mumbai.
We are immensely grateful for these honours and thank all organisations for recognising Suraj’s work and impact. We hope to keep bringing new homes to the hubs of Mahim, Dadar and Prabhadevi, and enhancing Mumbai’s skyline in the coming years.
